Jewellery Lust with Black Tied and 15% Discount Code

Hellooo

Oh do I have a treat for you lot!!!

If you’ve been following my blog from the beginning, then you’ll know how much I love discovering new brands that really suit my own personal style, and sharing these discoveries with you.

Right now, jewellery is the king of the accessories and is one of my biggest weaknesses (especially rings). However I am very picky about the jewellery I wear so I do have to hunt high and low for those particular brands, but when I find them you can bet on it that I’m sticking with them for life!

I've recently become very enamored with jewellery brand Black Tied. Unless you've been walking around with a paper bag on your head you should have noticed that gemstones, crystals, semi-precious stones, midi-rings, hamsa and evil eye motifs are huge in the world of jewellery right now. It’s a bohemian revolution and I’m loving it.

Black Tied is a brand that are fully embracing this trend and exploring all its possible avenues.

Based in Ireland, their designs are unique, edgy and alternative in style. But the awesomeness of Black Tied doesn't stop there. When it comes to alternative styles like this I've noticed a lot of brands asking extortionate prices, taking advantage of a trend that despite being labelled as bohemian, actually appeals to everyone. BlackTied is reasonably priced and affordable, and their jewellery is of amazing quality and handmade.

I just recently bought their Silver Vertebrae Ring which arrived a few days ago, and I haven’t taken it off. I love slightly morbid and macabre designs such as animal skulls and things like that, so I just had to have this ring. I've had so many people comment on it because for a ring it is very unusual in style and quite striking. The matte silver and antique effect adds a grunge element but at the same time I think it looks quite elegant.

Now my blog has been doing better than I could have ever expected, and has brought some wonderful opportunities to my door, one of them being working alongside Black Tied to bring to you lovely readers a little thank you discount. It is because of you reading my blog, following me on Facebook/Twitter/ Instagram that this is possible.

So if like me you love the current bohemian meets grunge jewellery trend, why not go and check out Black Tied, and if you see anything you like, use the discount code BSH15 for 15% off your order, valid until August 3rd

(If using Paypal, enter code once you've been taken back to Black Tied page)

Jewellery Lust

Hello lovelies. For today’s post, I've decided to share with you beautiful people two amazing jewellery brands that I've discovered in the last few weeks or so.
For me, when it comes to jewellery, I love anything really unique and different. Sometimes I think an epic piece of statement jewellery can make an outfit, and some of my favorite outfits are ones where I dress quite simplistically, but team it with a really unusual necklace or ring.

These two brands definitely fit into that category.
I fell in love with them the moment I saw them. They're the kind of brands where you just want to own absolutely EVERYTHING. So far, I have a piece from each brand, and am slowly working on building up my collection.
So the first brand is The Rogue and the Wolf on Etsy. Set up by Eloise H.R and Michael W, these creative geniuses seem to take a lot of inspiration from fairy tales and their love of wild things. From antlers and cat skulls to silver daggers and brambles, their pieces wouldn't look out of place on Maleficent (who by the way is the most badass Disney villain. CANNOT WAIT for the film.)

The second brand is Regal Rose. Run by twin sisters Rebecca and Louisa, I feel this brand is part of an emerging fashion trend that consists of the celestial, the mysterious and the romantic. Think crystals, moons, stars and precious stones. Those four elements on their own sound very ‘peace and love’, but Regal Rose adds a slightly grungy element with their use of hard metal that gives their pieces an edge.

From The Rogue and the Wolf I bought the Queen of Hearts Crown Ring (as an Alice in Wonderland obsessive, this was a must) and from Regal Rose, their Crystal Cluster Stacking Rings in white acrylic.

So seriously, if you're looking to add a bit of excitement to your jewellery collection, go check out these brands, I guarantee you'll want it all.
